The man known as “Uncle Fester” has been found guilty, but not on drug charges.
WBAY reports that 66-year-old Stephen Preisler pleaded no contest Thursday (January 16th) to two counts of felony bail jumping.
Preisler will spend one year in prison and have three years on probation, plus a $500 fine.
Preisler still plans to go to trial for other existing drug charges.
A pre-trial conference is set for March.
“Uncle Fester” gained notoriety for his books which depicted methods of making ricin, meth, and other drugs.
Law enforcement raided his home back in July 2023, where they say they found open containers of chemicals used to make meth.
