A Manitowoc man facing child porn and sex charges has had his status conference rescheduled again.
Robert Lee Curtis is facing ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child and was due for a status conference on January 10th.
However, the hearing was rescheduled for February 14th, which is the third time the hearing was postponed.
Additionally, Curtis’ defense team requested a modification to his bond in November.
They were asking the court to allow him to have contact with his significant other’s 15-year-old daughter, which the state objected to.
Judge Robert Dewane agreed, denying the modification request.
Curtis was arrested in May of 2023 after a female victim reported that Curtis had touched her inappropriately and forced her to touch him.
Curtis is still in the Manitowoc County Jail on a $150,000 cash bond and is due back for a status conference on February 14th.
