A man convicted on child porn charges is now residing in Manitowoc.
Jeremiah C. Johnson was found guilty due to no-contest pleas on four counts of Possession of Child Pornography in 2022 and was ordered to spend five years in prison, followed by five years of extended supervision.
He was released from prison on Tuesday (January 14th) and the Manitowoc Police Department noted that he will be residing on Daisy Drive in Manitowoc.
Johnson is required to be registered as a sex offender and be tracked via GPS for life.
He is not wanted by police at this time, and any attempts to threaten, intimidate, or harass him will not be tolerated by law enforcement.
The Manitowoc Police Department releases sex offender residency information not to instill fear in the community but rather to ensure the public is as informed as possible.
