A Manitowoc man facing child porn charges had his preliminary hearing date rescheduled.
Steven J. Wester was due for that hearing on January 13th, but it was rescheduled for February 13th.
Wester was last in court on December 30th, where he demanded a preliminary hearing and was ordered to give his fingerprints to the Manitowoc Police Department.
Wester was charged with ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informed Manitowoc Police about a photo depicting child pornography being uploaded from a computer in Manitowoc.
That led investigators to Wester’s home on December 11th, where they found a “significant amount of image and video files” depicting child porn.
Wester was given a $5,000 cash bond, which he has furnished.
