Junior Emjay Neumann of The Manitowoc Lincoln wrestling team recorded her 100th career victory last Saturday at the 18-team Vikings Scramble in Valders.
Neumann, the defending girl’s state champion at 120 pounds, recorded the milestone win via a pin of the top seed in her bracket.
She went on to finish second in her weight class. Neumann is predicted by many to make a third straight trip to the state meet in Madison next month.
Still, first, plenty of the regular season is left to wrestle for The Shipbuilders, including Thursday night’s FRCC dual meet at Sheboygan South against The Redwings.
