An Oshkosh man charged in a fatal hit-and-run is pleading not guilty.
According to court documents, 21-year-old Drake Dodge was back in a Winnebago County Courtroom yesterday for his arraignment (January 13th).
A Winnebago County judge also denied a motion to modify Dodge’s $20,000 cash bond.
Dodge is currently out of jail after posting the bond.
The incident took place on October 5th last year when a man was found lying in the road near New York Avenue and Algoma Blvd.
A witness saw the victim and called the police, but they couldn’t save the man’s life.
According to Oshkosh Police, Dodge turned himself in and admitted to hitting the man and that he’d been drinking that night.
His next court date is set for March 26th for a status conference.
