The Brown County Planning and Parks Department is getting ready to release the results of a recent trail study.
Over the past year, the department has been working on updating its Fox River State Trail Study, which was over 20 years old when it started.
The updated Study is heavily reliant on public engagement and modern trail uses. Parks Director Matt Kriese notes that the study “reaffirms the value and importance this specific trail plays in our community.”
The final draft of the study will be available for public viewing this Thursday, with an event being held in the lower-level meeting room in the Kress Library, located at 333 North Broadway in De Pere.
The event will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
