A Greenfield man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing in Green Bay.
30-year-old Jaharrie Jelks is facing charges of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, False Imprisonment, Obstructing an Officer, and Bail Jumping for his role in the December 8th incident.
Officers had responded to a weapons call on Western Avenue, where they found a 56-year-old man with stab wounds. A witness described a suspect to police, saying he was known as “Main/Mane.”
On December 10th, Milwaukee Police apprehended Jelks for stealing a car and learned he went by the name “Main/Mane.”
His mugshot was then shown to the stabbing victim, who said with certainty that Jelks was the man who stabbed him.
Jelks appeared in Brown County Court on Thursday, where his bond was set at $100,000 cash. He is next due in court on January 29th.
