The Green Bay Packers Pro Shop website has been hacked, potentially affecting customers.
WBAY reports that the team gave word on Tuesday (January 7th) that the breach involved hackers inputting malicious code into the pro shop website’s database.
The breach is also said to have potentially leaked customers’ personal info after making purchases with a debit or credit card online in September through the majority of October.
However, those who used a gift card, Amazon Pay, or PayPal were not affected.
The Green Bay Packers have sent all customers potentially impacted notices and is offering them credit monitoring and identity theft protection services.
The malware inserted into the website by hackers has since been removed, but the team recommends that if you believe you may be affected, to closely monitor your bank statements for any fraudulent charges.
