Manitowoc to Receive Major Grant for Mid-Cities Mall Project

There is only one meeting scheduled for today (January 7^th) in the City of Manitowoc.

The Finance Committee will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m., where they will hear comments from the public.

After reviewing the city’s grant policy, the group will look over a site assessment grant agreement with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

The $190,000 grant will be used to pay for a site assessment on the former Mid-Cities Mall property.

The WEDC will provide $150,000 of the grant, with the remaining $40,000 coming from a local match.
