Low temperatures over the weekend in Sheboygan led to multiple main breaks.
Sheboygan Water Utility has announced that these sub-freezing temperatures caused two separate water main breaks in the city.
The first occurred in Downtown Sheboygan at North 4th Street just North of Pennsylvania Avenue on Friday evening (January 3rd).
The second took place on Saturday morning (January 4th) east of Sauk Trail Road on Oakland Avenue.
Both water main breaks required city crews to shut down water supplies to nearby businesses and residences in order to make repairs.
Repairs were completed and water was restored in both areas.
Following the incidents, Sheboygan Water Utilities thanked the community for their understanding and patience over the weekend.
