Manitowoc United Hockey is ready for their first game of the new year.
United will be facing off against Sheboygan Red Raiders at the Manitowoc County Ice Center tonight (January 3rd), continuing their short but hard-fought rivalry.
United’s previous history with the Red Raiders is a very even battle, with United falling short by only one goal in last year’s matchup.
United Captain Benson Dickrell said of the matchup, “I’m excited to be getting to renew the rivalry with Sheboygan and having the chance to celebrate hockey with the community by being able to play in front of our awesome crowd, we love the fans that supports us every game.”
Puck drop is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Manitowoc County Ice Center.
