A building fire caused $120,000 in damage.
WBAY reports that Appleton Firefighters were called yesterday (January 2nd) to a building in the 700 block of West Parkway Blvd after a caller indicated that smoke and fire were coming from a broken window.
Fire crews found moderate smoke coming from the roof and fire from a window when they arrived.
Firefighters were alerted that someone wasn’t accounted for when they started attacking the fire.
However, after taking 10 minutes to put out the fire, an initial quick search found that the building was clear.
Appleton firefighters are working to determine the cause of the fire.
The commercial structure consists of three buildings, one suffering from smoke, water, and fire damage while the other suffered some smoke damage.
