The former leader of the Manitowoc County Drug Unit is due back in court this afternoon.
Dave Remiker is scheduled to be back in court this afternoon (December 30th) for a preliminary hearing after he got a $1,000 recognizance bond during his initial appearance over the phone.
Remiker is facing a felony count of misconduct after thousands of dollars of asset forfeiture funds were not properly deposited into designated accounts.
Judge Guy Dutcher, out of Waushara County, is presiding over the case so as not to cause a conflict of interest with a Manitowoc County judge.
