Governor Tony Evers is wrapping up his “Year of the Worker” with a celebration of the state’s achievements.
Highlighting key successes, Evers pointed to initiatives such as a pay raise for frontline home care workers, the creation of an AI task force, and expanded apprenticeship programs.
He also noted Wisconsin’s persistently low unemployment rate.
While the governor has not announced a theme for 2025, he took pride in the strides made for workers in the past year.
