The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the driver responsible for the hit-and-run death of a tow truck operator has turned himself in.
Hussain Farhat was struck while working along I-94 on Christmas Eve, with the driver fleeing the scene.
Farhat later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Authorities were led to a suspect after receiving a tip, which pointed them to a residence in Wales.
A 39-year-old man has since turned himself in and is now facing felony hit-and-run charges.
The court date for the suspect has not been disclosed.
