Green Bay Packer fans all over are still celebrating the massive win over the New Orleans Saints Monday night 34-0.
The offense was on point from the get-go, scoring touchdowns on three consecutive drives to open the game.
Former Green Bay Packer Evan Smith tells SeehaferNews.com that he is very impressed with how the offense did.
“We had about six different guys touching the ball in the run game,” he noted. “Pass game-wise, it was spread all over the place. Jayden Reed ended up being the leading receiver.”
Defensively, Edgerin Cooper continued his showing as one of the breakout stars for a squad that has become one of the best in the league.
“Hats off to Jeff Hafley,” he said. “He’s been doing a fantastic job with that unit. And this year, the leading league in turnovers, which is…the number one stat and deciding victories in the NFL.”
But that game is over.
The focus is now on the Minnesota Vikings.
Smith says the Packers should be focusing on a single word this week: sweep.
“That’s got to be the key word this week…we aren’t walking out of this season having two teams in the division take our number twice.”
