World-class offshore racing is set to return to Sheboygan next year.
The city has announced that it will host the second leg of the inaugural P1 Offshore Triple Crown race series from August 8th through the 10th.
The three-stop Triple Crown event will also have racers compete in New Orleans and St. Petersburg.
This will be the third consecutive year Sheboygan will host a P1 Offshore event; however, this time around, the addition of the P1 AquaX jet ski racers will be new.
Sheboygan’s leg of the three-stop series is expected to draw thousands of spectators while stimulating the local economy.
Additionally, the P1 Marine Foundation has pledged to donate a portion of the event’s proceeds to local non-profits that focus on marine conservation, water safety, and youth education programs.
