The USDA’S Farm Service Agency is now accepting applications for it’s $2 billion Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops (MASC) program.
The MASC program’s goal is to help specialty crop producers expand markets and manage higher costs.
FSA Administrator Zach Ducheneaux called the initiative important because “we can expand U.S. specialty crop consumption and markets by providing specialty crop producers the financial support needed to help them engage in activities that broaden and enhance strategies and opportunities for marketing their commodities.”
Applications and more information can be found on the USDA website.
Applications are due by January 8th.
