Maritime Ford in Manitowoc has delivered an early Christmas present to the Manitowoc County Veteran Service Office.
Aaron Mueller, the Sales Manager for new vehicles at Maritime Ford, and some other members of his team presented a $10,000 check to Veteran Service Officer Tood Brehmer Monday afternoon (December 9th).
The money came from a month-long fundraiser at the dealership, where $250 from every car sold throughout the month of November went into the pot while also giving veterans a $500 discount.
Mueller voiced his appreciation to his team, saying they did a phenomenal job during a month where they typically see a downturn in the number of vehicles sold.
Brehmer was very appreciative of the check, telling SeehaferNews.com that the money will go towards the transportation program, offsetting the cost to drive local veterans to the VA clinics in Cleveland and Milwaukee.
Mueller confirmed that Maritime Ford will be running the fundraiser again next November.
