A search is being conducted for a man reported missing in Kewaunee County this morning.
Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski reports that the department was called at 5:30 this morning by a resident who stated that his brother had gone fishing the night before and didn’t return home.
The missing man’s vehicle and fishing equipment were located near the Kewaunee River this morning.
Search teams from the Sheriff’s Department, Kewaunee Fire Department, Luxemburg Fire Department, Door County Dive Team, and DNR are currently on the scene.
The public is being asked to avoid traveling on Highway E, west of the City of Kewaunee, while the search is ongoing.
