A Madison woman has been sentenced in a case in Manitowoc.
23-year-old Emma N. Brunner was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Lewd, Lascivious Behavior – Exposure, but her sentencing was withheld.
Instead, Judge Mark Rohrer ordered her to spend one year on probation.
Brunner was arrested in July 2023 in connection to a child enticement case.
In that case, Desmond McWilliams had attempted to meet a 16-year-old girl for sex. He and Brunner were with the minor in a car, where they smoked marijuana and had sex in the back seat while the minor was in the front seat.
At the time, Brunner told police she thought the minor was “passed out.”
As a part of her sentencing, Brunner was ordered to have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18, undergo a psychosexual evaluation, and spend 90 days in the Manitowoc County Jail under the Huber Law.
The charge will be expunged from her record if Brunner successfully completes her probation period with no violations and completes 50 hours of community service.
The case against McWilliams remains open, and he is due for a scheduling conference on December 10th.
