
Two individuals were arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Fond du Lac.
A deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office pulled a vehicle over for multiple equipment violations on November 25th around 8:00 p.m. in the area of Pioneer Road and South Main Street.
The driver was identified as a 39-year-old Fond du Lac woman with no criminal history.
The passenger, a 39-year-old Fond du Lac male, had an extensive criminal history involving firearms and narcotic drugs.
During the stop, K9 Iro was deployed and alerted deputies of the presence of illegal narcotics, prompting a search of the vehicle.
The search uncovered nine crack pipes, eleven push rods, a scale with cocaine residue, smoking devices with crack cocaine residue, and glass beakers containing a white residue believed to be used to manufacture crack cocaine.
A loaded .380 handgun was also found in the glove box.
Both 39-year-olds were placed in custody and face a long line of drug-related charges, including Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place.
While in custody, an additional 28 grams of cocaine were also found on the person of the female driver.
The driver has posted her $500 bail while the passenger remains in custody on a $3,000 cash bond.
