
Three people were arrested yesterday (December 1st) after a vehicle chase with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig tells SeehaferNews.com that deputies were alerted to a stolen vehicle from Brown County traveling into Manitowoc County.
The vehicle was located on I-41 north of Highway 10. Deputies began pursuing the vehicle and were able to successfully deploy spike strips near County Road JJ.
However, the three occupants fled on foot.
A 57-year-old Milwaukee man was detained in a nearby field and released after posting bail on a charge of Obstructing an Officer.
A 15-year-old juvenile from Green Bay was also arrested nearby, with his case being referred to juvenile authorities.
He was released to a parent.
Lastly, the 18-year-old Milwaukee man who was driving the vehicle was located east of Neuser Drive by a drone and remains in the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Knowingly Fleeing an Officer, Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
This case remains under investigation, and no further information is being released at this time.
