
Several Manitowoc and Sheboygan County nonprofits are receiving Green Gifts from Cellcom.

In Manitowoc County, the Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve is getting a $450 gift to support pond dipping, a popular preserve activity allowing children and families to check out kits to explore and learn about aquatic insects.
The Manitowoc County Historical Society is also receiving $300 for an heirloom garden on the Pinecrest Historical Village grounds, which will help it fulfill its mission of educating children and adults.
The Sheboygan Senior Community will get $300, while the Bookworm Garden will get $500.
Lastly, the Environmental Park Trust of Sheboygan County will get $500 to build a new section of the existing boardwalk.
Thirty-one organizations have gotten a share of close to $21,000 in Green Gifts from Cellcom this year.
