Local home prices rose slightly last month.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association reports that the average price for a home in Manitowoc County was $230,000 in October, which is up $6,000 from September and up $15,000 from last October.
The total number of sales remained steady at 80, with homes staying on the market for an average of 66 days.
Sheboygan homes were a bit more expensive.
The 112 homes sold in October went for an average of $255,000 and stayed on the market for an average of 59 days.
The median price throughout the state was unchanged from September, remaining at $310,00, but that is $30,000 more than the median price in October of 2023.
