A homeowner in La Crosse is recovering after inhaling smoke during a house fire on 16th Street South yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters responded around 4:30 p.m., where they found flames spreading to the exterior of the home. T
hey managed to control the fire within minutes, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
