Milwaukee prosecutors have filed homicide charges against a local father following a tragic drunk-driving accident last Friday that resulted in the death of his five-year-old son.
The District Attorney’s office filed charges yesterday against 34-year-old Christopher Sloan, who Milwaukee Police say crashed into two parked cars and a yard near 81st and Hampton.
The crash killed his son Jaylen, while Jaylen’s twin brother was injured but survived.
Witnesses reported that Sloan was speeding, swerving between lanes, and driving with his door open and leg out of the car.
Sloan faces charges of second-degree reckless homicide and homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
