Once again, two Manitowoc Lincoln tennis flights are headed to Madison.
Jordin Popp dominated Elly Haas of Port Wahington 6-0, 6-1 to earn her spot in the State Tournament, while the tandem of Taylor Peterson and Zylia Kleinfeldt had a much tougher path.
They faced Sammy Mudra and Audra Schaefer of Hartford and took the first set 6-2. The Ships duo fell in the second set 4-6 before rebounding in the tiebreaker and winning 10-5.
The state tournament will be held at Nielsen Stadium in Madison next week, Friday and Saturday (October 25th and 26th).
