New information has revealed the death of Brandon Ramirez was the result of a drug deal gone wrong.
FOX 11 reports that this new information shows just how the fatal shooting took place, revealing details previously unknown to the public.
It is also disclosed that all four suspects involved gave police multiple and varying versions of what occurred.
Dion Richardson, the alleged shooter, told Green Bay Police that he agreed to buy a half pound of marijuana from Ramirez for $430.
While in the backseat of Ramirez’s car, Richardson pulled out a gun.
After a disagreement, Richardson fired the gun, striking Ramirez in the head before exiting the vehicle and fleeing the scene.
Ramirez was brought to the hospital by his girlfriend, who was operating the vehicle at the time of the fatal shooting.
His autopsy confirmed a gunshot wound to the head was indeed the cause of death.
However, Richardson left his phone behind in Ramirez’s car, which led authorities to him in their investigation.
Nigel White joins Richardson in being charged, while Elijah White and Darian Pinchart, the two other suspects, are expected to be charged soon.
