A local axe-throwing tournament is being held to raise money for Northeastern Wisconsin veterans.
The first annual Ax-Treme Competition, hosted by the Patriot Riders of America Wisconsin Chapter Two, will be held at Tapped on the Lakeshore in Two Rivers.
The event will take place on Saturday (October 12th) with registration opening at noon and the axe-throwing tournament to follow at 1:00 p.m.
It is a bracket-style, double-elimination competition with trophies and cash prizes on the line for first-, second-, and third-place finishers.
A last-chance cornhole tournament between the first four teams eliminated will also give participants a chance to win back their entry fee.
Teams will be made up of four competitors, and registration will cost $40 per team.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle and plate dinners available for $8, which will include broasted chicken, coleslaw, fries, and more.
Anyone with questions about the Axe-Treme Competition can call Patriot Riders at 920-769-6022 or check the competition’s Facebook page for updates.
