A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with a string of car and gun thefts in Lake Hallie.
Police took the teen into custody on Saturday.
Investigators report the suspect had been under house arrest for a previous offense and is believed to have stolen at least two vehicles and one firearm.
Authorities are reminding residents to lock their cars and secure their valuables in light of this case.
