Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) has seen an 11% growth in enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.
MPTC has announced that, as of September 1st, they have a headcount of 2,936 students enrolled for classes this school year, which is up nearly 500 students compared to 2022.
This number is the highest year-to-date total in four years. Enrollment numbers are not the only thing on the rise for MPTC, as they have reported $3 million in financial aid will be given out to students this year as well.
Another bright spot for the school is its Associate of Arts and Associate of Science University Transfer agreement numbers, which have nearly tripled again this year.
In 2022, the number sat at just 13, and now, for the 2024-2025 school year, they have 103 taking part in the program.
The first fall term at MPTC started on August 26th and will wind down later this year on December 20th.
