You might want to check your Perdue brand chicken nuggets if you bought them in late March.
An announcement from the USDA says Perdue is recalling a little more than 167,000 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken breast nuggets and tenders.
They come in three bags, including their Butcherbox organic chicken breast nuggets, regular Perdue chicken breast tenders, and Perdue chicken breast nuggets.
The problem with the chicken was discovered after the firm received consumer complaints about metal wire being inside.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the products.
Anyone who bought the Perdue chicken should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
The bags will have a best-buy date of 3/23/25 and a plant code of P-33944.
