Nicolae Miu has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of a teenager in Wisconsin in 2022.
Miu was also found guilty of injuring four others in the same incident.
Although Miu pleaded not guilty, claiming he acted in self-defense after being harassed by the teenagers, the prosecution argued he had multiple opportunities to leave the situation if he felt threatened.
A jury found him guilty after a trial in April.
