
An Appleton hit-and-run has left one person critically injured.
On Wednesday (July 24) at approximately 11:00 p.m., The Appleton Police Department responded to reports of a bicycle crash in the 400 block of North Meade Street.
Upon arrival, they located one man who had suffered substantial injuries.
Officers then worked through the night to identify and locate the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
After some determined investigation, the suspect was identified, located, and arrested.
They were then transported to the Outagamie County Jail on charges of Hit and Run Causing Great Bodily Harm.
No Further information on the status of the victim has been released.
However, the investigation is ongoing.
