The Haven of Manitowoc, The Primary Shelter for local unhoused men, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Alex Hunt as their new Executive Director.
With over five years of experience in the non-profit sector, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team.
In this role, Alex will work closely with the board of directors to oversee and guide the operations and sustainability of The Haven.
Their proven track record of developing relationships, supervising staff, and assisting with events will undoubtedly contribute to The Haven’s continued success.
Alex said, “I am ecstatic about joining The Haven’s team and look forward to utilizing my own lived experience with homelessness to improve the quality and availability of shelter to unhoused men in the community. Together, we will further The Haven’s vision of engaging our community to ensure no man faces homelessness alone and has support on the journey to a brighter future.”
