The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office announced yesterday that no charges will be filed in the incident involving an RNC protester and a Republican congressman from western Wisconsin.
Activist Nour Jaghama was arrested on Tuesday after Congressman Derrick Van Orden claimed she assaulted him, labeling it as political violence.
However, Code Pink, the group Jaghama is affiliated with, asserted that it was Van Orden who pushed past her to get in line.
After reviewing body camera footage, prosecutors concluded there was no violation of Wisconsin law.
