One person is dead following a stabbing in Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan Police Department reports that they were called to a home in the 1700 block of South 25th Street at around 6:00 Friday evening (July 5th) on a reported stabbing.
The 33-year-old male victim told police he had been stabbed by his 34-year-old roommate, however, despite life-saving efforts at a local hospital, victim later died.
The suspect, whose name has not yet been revealed, refused to come out for several hours despite officers attempting to make contact with him.
The police eventually used a vehicle-mounted battering ram to open the front door.
The suspect eventually exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.
He was arrested on a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide while the incident remains under investigation.
