After serving the county for nearly four decades, a member of the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office’s administrative professional team has retired.
Patty Shimek was honored on her last day on the job, which was July 3rd.
She began her 37 years of service in March of 1987, and has been a cornerstone of the Sheriff’s Office over that time.
In a post on Facebook, the Department stated, “Her commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail have been integral to our success and have positively impacted countless colleagues over the years. Throughout her tenure, Patty has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to her work, providing invaluable support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. While we will undoubtedly miss her presence, we are also excited for her as she embarks on this new chapter of her life.”
