The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Wisconsin Street at 11:30 Tuesday evening on a report of someone lying on the ground.
When they arrived, the officers found an unidentified man who was unresponsive with a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fond du Lac Police Department was called to aid in the investigation, which led to the arrest of one individual, whose name has also not been released.
The investigation is ongoing, however, no additional suspects are being sought, and there is no perceived danger to the public.
