
Charges have now been filed in an overnight disturbance in Appleton’s Erb Park.
19-year-old Tyrese Simmons is facing charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Resisting an Officer, Disorderly Conduct, and Felony Bail Jumping.
The Appleton Police Department responded to the park at 8:15 Tuesday evening on a report of shots being fired.
No one was hit, and the investigation led to Simmons, who was found in possession of a handgun.
FOX11 reports that the criminal complaint states that Simmons was with a group of juveniles when he pulled out a gun and fired it into the air three or four times.
Simmons’ bond was set at $150,000 cash.
