The City of Sheboygan has named a new director of the Department of Public Works.
WHBL reports that Travis Peterson will be taking over the role effective July 8th.
Peterson has a background in managing soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor contamination and has managed numerous state and federal grant applications.
This has helped him develop strong relationships with numerous state agencies as well as local municipalities.
