The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a string of thefts from campsites.
The department noted that the thefts occurred at Point Beach State Park between June 19th and 20th and that a suspect has been identified.
At least some of the property taken has been recovered, but if you or someone you know was staying at the campground at that time and was a victim, you are encouraged to report it.

The Sheriff’s Office also encouraged anyone who was camping to keep an eye open for any suspicious activity and report it to local law enforcement.
