Three schools in the Green Bay Area Public School District will be closing.
WFRV TV reports that the School Board voted unanimously to shutter Langlade and MacArthur Elementary Schools.
There was some opposition to closing Elmore Elementary, but that motion ultimately passed 5-2.
This brings the total number of schools closed in the Green Bay area up to six, as Tank, Keller, and Wequiock were closed earlier this month.
This move is anticipated to save the district $2.4 million next school year.
