A pedestrian has died after being hit by a train in Oshkosh over the weekend.
The Oshkosh Police Department reports that officers were called to the railroad intersection with East Parkway Avenue just before 7:00 Sunday evening on a report of a man who had been struck by a train.
Officers arrived to find the 23-year-old man had died from his injuries.
The area was closed off to traffic as the investigation was conducted but has since been reopened.
The train was also held in place during the investigation.
