
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers remain the best team in the Midwestern League after a 4-1 win over the Fort Wayne Tin Caps yesterday evening.
The game was quiet until the 4th inning when Matthew Wood hit a solo shot to right field to put the Rattlers up 1-0.
The game continued with Jadher Areinamo hitting a home run and Luke Adams getting a single to drive in two runs.
The only hiccup for Rattler’s pitcher Mark Manfredi was a home run given to Fort Wayne’s Joshua Mear in the 6th inning.
The Timber Rattlers are now 41-23 on the season and are 3.5 games ahead of the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
The Rattlers are back in action tonight from Fort Wayne for the six-game series.
The first pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
