The Wisconsin DOT has announced a series of closures this week in connection to the I-41 expansion project.
The first major traffic impact will be felt overnight Wednesday (June 19th) as northbound traffic between Exit 145, which leads to Highway 441 in Fox Crossing, and Exit 148, which leads to Highway 55 on the north side of Kaukauna, will be closed.
Then, on Thursday, the southbound lanes in the same section of the highway will be closed through Friday.
Detours will be set up on both nights using Highway 441, County Road OO, and Highway 55.
Additionally, another long-term closure will go into effect.
The County N interchange will be closed starting Thursday and will remain as such through September.
The other long-term closures are still in effect, specifically Capitol Drive over I-41 between North Capitol Court and Northridge Lane, which will be closed through August, and Rose Hill Road between Fairlane Drive and East Evergreen Drive, which is closed through mid-September.
