There are two meetings on tap for today (June 17th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Committee of the Whole will convene at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, where they will review the eight applications received to fill the vacant District 1 seat and, in a closed session, the gravel pit water main construction options.
The full Common Council will then take over the chambers at 6:30 p.m., where they will also review the District 1 applicants before welcoming three new people to the Manitowoc Fire/Rescue Department and officially declaring Manitowoc as the Specialty Malt Capital of the World.
The public will also be given time to voice input before the council reviews an Alcohol Beverage license application for Broken Plate and a Cigarette, Tobacco, and Electronic Vaping Device Retail License application for 920 CBD.
