Six people, including two children, are okay after a boat incident on Lake Winnebago.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office says they were called around 3:50 pm this past Saturday (June 15th) in reference to a boat taking on water.
Boats from Calumet County and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office were called to rescue all eight people from the boat along with citizens boting in the area.
The boat was then towed to Brothertown Harbor with help from the Calumet County dive team.
No injuries were reported.
The incident is still under investigation.
